Teamwork Security and Training Services Ltd proudly attended the Port Skills and Safety (PSS) Members’ Conference 2026, where Business Development Consultant Tony Birr and Marketing Consultant Rebecca Chatfield represented the company alongside professionals from across the UK ports sector.
The conference brought together port operators, safety specialists and maritime professionals for a day packed with expert speakers, industry insights and valuable networking. Throughout the event, delegates explored key topics including workplace communication, skills development, safety leadership and the growing role of ports in supporting a regenerative ocean economy.
In addition, the conference gave attendees the opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships and discuss the future of port safety and maritime security.
PSS Awards showcase innovation across the UK ports sector
One of the standout moments of the day was the PSS Awards, which celebrated excellence, innovation and best practice across the UK ports industry.
Finalists confidently presented a series of impressive initiatives, creative solutions and inspiring projects that demonstrated their commitment to improving port safety, developing workforce skills and raising operational standards. Furthermore, every presentation highlighted the passion and dedication that organisations continue to invest in creating safer and more resilient ports.
The exceptionally high standard of entries reflected the strength of the industry, and every finalist deserves recognition for sharing ideas that will benefit the wider ports community.
