The Teamwork Security and Training Services team recently attended Seawork 2026, one of Europe’s leading commercial marine and workboat exhibitions, for a day of networking, industry engagement and discovering the latest innovations shaping the maritime sector.
Representing Teamwork Security at the event were MD Paul Symons, Marketing Manager Rebecca Chatfield, Head of ISPS Compliance Wendy Weeks and Training and Compliance Manager John Songhurst, who spent the day meeting with existing clients, connecting with new contacts and exploring opportunities to support organisations across the maritime industry with their security, compliance and training requirements.
The exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to engage with a wide range of maritime businesses, industry stakeholders and associations, including the British Superyacht Association. Discussions covered a variety of topics affecting the sector, from maritime security and ISPS compliance to operational challenges, emerging technologies and future industry developments.
As a business committed to supporting ports, terminals and maritime operators with practical security and compliance solutions, events such as Seawork are invaluable. They enable our team to strengthen relationships, share expertise and remain informed about the latest trends, innovations and technologies influencing the maritime environment.
The team were particularly impressed by the breadth of expertise on display throughout the exhibition, with exhibitors showcasing innovative products and services designed to enhance safety, efficiency and sustainability across the sector.
Following a productive day at the show, the team were delighted to attend a drinks reception hosted by Goodchild Marine. We would like to extend our thanks to the Goodchild Marine team for their hospitality and for providing a fantastic opportunity to continue conversations with industry colleagues in a relaxed setting.
Reflecting on the event, Wendy Weeks, Head of ISPS Compliance, commented:
“Seawork continues to be one of the most important events in the maritime calendar. It provides a valuable opportunity to engage directly with clients and industry partners while keeping abreast of developments that impact maritime security and compliance.”
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to meet with us during the event and look forward to continuing the conversations and connections made throughout Seawork 2026.
