As a training provider with a large number of established ‘blue chip’ customers we are concerned that none of our customers fall victim to ‘Unannounced Compliance Visits’ from DFT Transport Security Inspectors.
Our challenge was to identify a method of ensuring our customers have the necessary resilience amongst their staff to address all of the duties of the PFSO, thus totally fulfilling their responsibilities under the ISPS Code all without incurring unnecessary cost. This means ensuring the drills and exercises are properly conducted, evaluated and audited, staff appropriately trained in security awareness, the PFSP is fully implemented and interfaces effectively with all other plans which impinge on the port and the facility.
At Teamwork Security we decided the most cost-effective method to achieve all of these goals was for the facility to have a ‘Health Check’. This ‘Health Check’ will consist of a one day site inspection, conducted by one of our experienced team, all of who are security cleared to at least CTC level. The inspection will include an audit of your plans, exercises, drills and day to day operations. Following the inspection, a confidential report will be prepared identifying the strengths and weaknesses together with any remedial action required. This will then be incorporated into a revised PFSP which we will draft and then return to you for your approval.
The Teamwork Security Premium ISPS Assurance Policy will include the following for a monthly premium:
